Happy Birthday Barbie!

On this day in 1959, the first Barbie doll went on display at the American Toy Fair in New York City. Ruth Handler, co-founder of Mattel, created the worlds first Barbie Doll and now, 59 years later, Barbie has become an iconic figure in the toy world.
