Meet the minds that power Venatus

Spike grew up in the USA with a stop in Australia before settling in London and spends his free time making music and staying active with yoga and hiking. He loves drumming, and exploring new countries.

Sterling grew up in Trinidad and Tobago before moving to the US in the mid-nineties and spends his free time watching sports. His favorite is football where he tries to watch every Manchester United game. Sterling also loves American football and watches every Jets game he can. He loves when his team wins so he can engage in friendly banter with friends and work colleagues!

Chanel grew up in Prescott, AZ (5th Generation on Dad’s side, and a proud 2nd Generation Mexican-American on mom’s side) and spends her free time making memories with her husband and 2 kids in sunny Los Angeles - playing video games, exploring new restaurants, going to concerts, day tripping to theme parks, the beach, hiking trails and checking off bucket list goals.

Jermaine grew up in lively South London and his background is a cool mix of Italian and Jamaican heritage, where family gatherings meant lot’s of good cooking, love and the good kind of noise. Life has taken Jermaine to the serene countryside village of Harpenden, where he, along with his wife, two beautiful kids, and their beloved dog, revels in a slower pace distinct from the hustle of London. Weekends are a blend of family adventures - swimming, bowling, parks, and fun fairs - mixed with catching up with close friends over a drink or three.

Laura grew up in West London with Spanish parents in a multilingual (and loud!) household. Whether it’s long walks in Epping Forest or cosy pub lunches, she enjoys spending her free time with her partner, son and dog whilst patiently waiting for the arrival of their second son!

Tom grew up in Hertfordshire and spends his free time doing socialising, exercising, seeing the world and spending time with my three kids. He loves when Newcastle win, good food and trying to keep fit!

Michal grew up in Poland before moving to his current base in Amsterdam, the Netherlands more than 18 years ago. He spends his free time either training to run marathons or running after his two toddler sons, in both cases a lot of running.

Stan grew up in Riga, Latvia and moved to the UK about 15 years ago. Perhaps, that’s why he holds the ‘Funniest Latvian in the Office’ title. In his spare time, you’ll most likely find Stan either at the football pitch; or playing table tennis; or spending time (in the pub) with friends watching sports or just socialising! Wants to learn German and dreams of becoming an assistant Chef as a side hustle!

Zubayer was born and grew up in North-West London and is of a Pakistani background, but has spent time living in Egypt, UAE and Luxembourg. He is known to change his hobbies more than a DJ changes tracks at a party! At the moment, he savours the simpler things in life such as hiking, playing pool, going out with friends and spending time with family.

Joe grew up in Oxfordshire and spends his free time watching sport, predominantly as a glutton for punishment at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. Otherwise, you’ll find me watching horse racing, cricket, golf, [insert any other sport] preferably with friends, family and a pint of Guinness.

Pat grew up Sydney, Australia and spends his free time playing sports and relaxing at the beach. He loves when his football team win and there is a roast chicken for dinner!

James grew up in Hertfordshire before moving to Derbyshire at the age of 8. After graduating from University in Southampton, he spent time living in Spain and Australia before moving to London in early 2012 to work at the Olympics and has lived all over the city since, now calling Walthamstow home. He spends his free time predominantly outside, either on the golf course, hiking or on his bike and loves to explore new places with his wife, often finding food as a great way to learn about local culture!
